Danny Lebern Glover (natural July 22, 1946) is an American actor and film director born in San Francisco, California. He presently serves when board chair of the TransAfricthe Forum, "a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the general public – particularly African Americans – on the economic, political and moral ramifications of U.S. foreign policy as it affects Africa and the Diaspora in the Caribbean and Latin America." Inside March 1998, he was appointed ambassador to the United Nations Development Programme.

He has been married to Asake Bomani since 1975 and has one infant known as Mandisa. He besides has the immature brother known as Martin.

Among numbers of awards, he has won 5 NAACP , for his achievements as a blacken actor.

He joined a ranks of actors, like Humphrey Bogart, Elliot Gould, and Robert Mitchum; who use portrayed Raymond Chandler's private eye detective Philip Marlowe in the episode 'Red Wind' of the Showtime network's 1995 series 'Fallen Angels.'

Glover manufactured his directorial debut by using a Showtime channel short film Override in 1994.

He graduated from either San Francisco State University, where he met his married woman.

He occurs as San Francisco Giants fan.

Within his late twenties, Danny enrolled in a Black Actors Workshop at the U.s. Conservatory Theater. Deciding that he wanted to exist as an actor, Danny resigned from either his professional administration job & before long began his career as a stage actor, which one of these days brought him to Los Angeles.
